Firmware Update Instructions

1. Attach a MIDI interface to your computer, tablet, or smartphone
   (USB-MIDI cable or an audio interface with MIDI ports).
2. Connect your Manatee's MIDI IN & MIDI OUT ports to the MIDI OUT & MIDI IN of your interface.
   Power on the Manatee while holding the ALT button.
   The screen should display: "..AWAITING SYX..".
3. Allow MIDI permissions when prompted by your web browser.
   Note: Apple Safari does not support WebMIDI.
4. Select the appropriate device for both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT in the updater.
5. Click Detect to verify the connection and retrieve the current firmware version installed on your Manatee.
6. Select the firmware version you want to install and click Download to begin the update.
7. Wait until your Manatee automatically reboots, a progress bar should be seen on Manatee's display while it is updating and should match the percentage displayed on the online updater.
8. Important: Do not switch browser tabs during the update.
   Doing so will significantly slow down the data transfer.
