Firmware Update Instructions

1. Attach a MIDI interface to your computer, tablet, or smartphone
   (USB-MIDI cable or an audio interface with MIDI ports).
2. Connect your Manatee's MIDI IN & MIDI OUT ports to the MIDI OUT & MIDI IN of your interface.
   
3. Allow MIDI permissions when prompted by your web browser.
   Note: Apple Safari does not support WebMIDI.
4. Select the appropriate device for both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT in the updater.
5. Click Detect to verify the connection and retrieve the current firmware version installed on your Manatee.
6. Select the firmware version you want to install and click Download to begin the update.
7. The update is working correctly when the progress bar advances both on this web page and on the Manatee's screen.
   If no progress bar appears on the Manatee's screen, the device is not being updated: check your MIDI connection and your browser's MIDI permission.
8. Note: On some older bootloader versions (V ≤ 1.30), the progress bar on the Manatee's screen may roll over. This is only a graphical glitch and does not affect the update procedure.
9. Wait until your Manatee automatically reboots.
10. Important: Do not switch browser tabs during the update.
    Doing so will significantly slow down the data transfer.
11. Warning: After performing an update, you must initialize the synthesizer's system configuration.
    Press ALT + SAVE to access the Tools page, then use the right arrow to navigate to the INI SYS MLT PRS page and place the cursor under the first Go!.
    Press ALT + SAVE again to initialize the system settings.
