Reproduce:
- Load Default MULTI, concerning Part 1 (set to Default Init)
- Set up a sound (in my case, Unison Mono with a sawtooth and Take 5 generator, a square sub at -12 with even balance) -- turning off modw vibrato and tremolo, but don't think the sound actually matters)
- EQ1 is a LOBO with a center around ~500hz, EQ2 is a HIBO with a center around ~1khz -- their gain can be cranked or not, doesn't matter
- settings for M-1: source DC100%, amount -127 if EQ1-AMP is cranked, +127 if it's not cranked), dest is EQ1-AMP, EXPR is MODW
- settings for M-2: source DC100%, amount -127 if EQ2-AMP is cranked, +127 if it's not cranked), dest is EQ2-AMP, EXPR is MODW
(the goal here is to use the modwheel to emphasize highs or lows without cutting them out entirely)
MODW has no effect on the EQ1/2-AMP parameters. Doesn't seem to matter if only one is used, or if they're in opposite directions, or the same directions
I've also tested this modulating SAT-DRV and SAT-MIX in the same way, which seemed to work
Other expression sources do still modulate EQ1/2-AMP, for instance lfos and envs, the only MIDI that has worked so far has been CC64, in an all-or-nothing capacity, so that's not ideal.
