I've had my Manatee for about a week, have read the reference guide, but one aspect eludes me right now.
I am unclear on how to operate the two envelopes independently. I had the impression that I could switch off the sustain and attack times for each, and presumably, switching off ENV-F sustain would allow setting just the amp env sustain by twisting the sustain knob -- however what actually happens is the ENV-F sustain becomes 0, and if there isn't a decay level set, this causes clicks. Then, once ENV-F's sustain is re-enabled, the sustain value is equal to whatever the ENV-A's sustain was (I guess it's just a shared parameter?) -- this conflicts with the statement in the reference, which I understood to mean that they are completely independent envelopes, but are initially controlled together (attack/sustain can be enabled or disabled, but disabling them just sets their value to 0, and re-enabling them matches whatever the parameter was last set to).
I am sure there must be a way to do it, but this is an area that the manual hasn't really covered. I've tried all sorts of combinations of alt key + buttons, or poking through UI pages, I haven't figured it out yet
I saw someone asking about this on the facebook group as well, so I know I'm not the only one finding this confusing.
